second post for catcher

Haven't read much more past the half-way point but chapter 13 and 14 are at least unexpected. One can tell that Holden is very emotional and they change quickly. He still takes blame for his brother's death and can become very lonely. He regrets many things and I fell that he is living in the past.

I agree. Holden's emotions do change very quickly. One second he loves something, the next second he hates it. His attitudes also vary alot too to the point where you don't know what to think (right??). And ya, he does think about Allie alot, especially when he's crossing the street. When he goes to the park when he's drunk, he also thinks of Allie. I totally agree with you.
